Pansch Weiss and Jimmy Hoffmann Quartet Jazz manouche
Pansch Weiss has a valuable and invaluable musical family heritage: at the age of 16, he was already performing with his family in Alsace and Lorraine. He developed a personal style that remained entirely in the tradition of gypsy jazz. At the age of 20, he played on national and international stages, including in the USA, Norway and at festivals in France. Today, Pansch WEISS is an internationally renowned musician with powerful playing, energetic rhythms and almost dizzying chromatic descents and chord progressions. He performs as a quartet with Jimmy HOFFMANN on violin, Benji WINTERSTEIN on rhythm guitar and double bassist Thierry CHANTELOUP. These four musicians represent the special school of the Manouche style from eastern France, combining czardas, swings and rhythms of all kinds with finesse and sensuality. Listening to them is simply a pleasure!
