For the second edition of the Fête de la Musique on Marlene-Dietrich-Platz, the Montpellier-Haus and the Karlstorbahnhof have invited “Les Trash Croutes” from Toulouse. Four nymphs with sequins who have a crazy project: Giving meaning to absurd texts in an absurd world to make the audience happy. Their credo: to take hits from the 60s to the present day and alienate them, kindly translating Shakespeare’s language into French and sometimes adapting it so that everyone can understand the secrets of love and show business.

A unique way to fight against English-speaking globalization. “Trash” are more than a band, they are a non-stop pop cure for the blues. Ukulele, double bass, glockenspiel, synthesizer guitar, tap dance, powerful and thin voices, choreographies and enchanting costumes – that is the colourful program of their fl amming show.
