HEIDELBERGER HERBST: FANFARE BAND BANZAÏ FROM CLERMONT-L’HÉRAULT
With music and catering from the south
in front of the Jesuit Church, Richard-Hauser-Platz
Free entry
Every year, the Montpellier House is delighted to invite a fun fanfare band from Occitania to the Heidelberg Autumn, as has now become a tradition, to create a great atmosphere in front of its stand in front of the Jesuit Church. This year’s visitors from Clermont-l’Hérault are the Banzaï fanfare band: seven musicians who make music to celebrate and spread good cheer all over the streets of France. With trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, percussion and banjo, this group of cheerful friends has been playing together for years and will create a great atmosphere in front of the Jesuit Church! As every year, caterer Adrien Guillard will come directly from Mèze to offer his freshly caught seafood, oysters, cooked mussels and other specialties from the south of France. The Montpellier House has the most delicious wines from the south of France to match. Other associations will also be offering their regional products from the twin towns on the square. Musicians: Stéphanie Lemonnier (clarinet) / Gilles Bigeard (saxo tenor) / Bruno Pelegrin (souba) / Bruno Angosto (percussions) / Pierre Mitaut (bass drum) / Steeve Seriat (banjo)
Performance times: approx. 11:45 a.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
