Adil Smaali (voc.) celebrated the 35th edition of the Film Days of the Mediterranean on the Summer Stage in 2021 with his group AYWA – with great success! Now he returns with Damien Fadat (flute, choir) and Samuel Wornom (darbuka, bendir, percussion) to pay tribute to the various musicians of the Maghreb: They reinterpret famous songs by the great names of Raï (Khaled, Cheb Hasni, …), as well as popular melodies from the Berber or Gnawa tradition. Carried by the energy of the oriental rhythms, they offer a beautiful moment of festive conviviality, sharing and the coming together of cultures – fitting for the Mediterranean Film Days!
