For eight generations, the Rouquairol family has been growing wine, a millennia-old culture of the Montpellier region, now with the heirs Ludovic and Élodie Rouquairol.

At the gates of Montpellier, between the sea and the mountains, a small, exceptional vineyard, the Terroir de la Méjanelle, stretches out on a terrace of pebbles, the soil characteristics of which are very similar to those of the terroir of Châteauneuf du Pape. As early as the Middle Ages, a document from the bishopric of Maguelone mentioned the vineyards of Méjanelle, where powerful and full-bodied wines with a lot of character were pressed.

Today, the vineyard covers 40 hectares and consists of the Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Merlot grape varieties for the red wines and Rosé, Chardonnay and Viognier for the white wines. The wines of Domaine d’Isnard have a generous, finely mature bouquet, and the long maceration and special ageing methods give them a pronounced finesse.
