In Marseille, 60-year-old Rosa has dedicated her life to both her family and trade union politics with the same sense of sacrifice. Everyone thinks she is unshakeable. Robert Guédiguian (*1953 in Marseille) became internationally famous with MARIUS AND JEANNETTE – A LOVE IN MARSEILLE (1997). Since then, the producer, screenwriter and director has been a friend of long-standing and proven (working) relationships: In addition to his hometown of Marseille, we also see many faces from his previous films again in ET LA FÊTE CONTINUE, most notably his partner Ariane Ascaride. After THE HOUSE BY THE SEA and GLORIA MUNDI, Guédiguian’s new film will also be screened at the Mediterranean Film Festival.
