It’s summer in Greece. Single father Babis and his adolescent twins, Konstantinos and Elsa, sail on the family boat to the island of Poros for a vacation. In addition to summer, sun, the sea and new friendships, the nuclear family can expect to meet the twins’ biological mother, Anna, who abandoned them when they were babies. Bitterness and resentment will now have to assert themselves against the Greek sun. Kostis Charamountanis’ debut is a bittersweet tale of growing up. Greece, North Macedonia 2024

Kostis Charamountanis, born in Athens in 1994, is a self-taught actor. After training as an actor, he made his first short film at the age of 21. After four short films, his feature film debut KYUKA: BEFORE SUMMER’S END premiered in Cannes (L’ACID) and won numerous awards.
