Against her will, Antonia is drawn into the unrest by Pascal, her shady partner. Over the course of more than three decades, the young woman’s involvement, friendships and love affairs become intertwined with the major events in the island’s political history … The film adaptation of Jérôme Ferrari’s novel of the same name is the fresco of a generation. Thierry de Peretti, who grew up in Ajaccio, is an actor, theater and film director. He began directing films in 2005. His first two feature-length films Les Apaches (2013) and Une vie violente (2017), which are also the problems for the Corse-Matin, a newspaper based in Ajaccio.
