With an introduction to the culture of swing: when the Carolina Reapers Swing from Montpellier take to the stage, you know what to expect: irresistible swing, irrepressible energy, a good dose of craziness, but
also a unique repertoire, a touch of finesse, unrepeatable moments – and the certainty that you will want to dance to their music until the last note. Their repertoire combines arrangements from the swing era with
improvisations on the most popular standards of the time. A team of talented and creative soloists supported by a pure swing rhythm section. Surprising performances full of spontaneity. Sparkling personalities, inventive solos, hypnotic riffs and charming voices ensure that every Carolina Reapers Swing show is unique and full of life. And the icing on the cake: a show interlude by swing star Remy Kouakou Kouamé and Leticia Martin from Swinging Montpellier (see info on them at the workshop, previous page) and Laura Stahl and Ali Taghavi from the Swingstep Heidelberg school! Afterwards, DJ Laura Stahl will ensure a fiery atmosphere until midnight!
