The wine cellar of the Les Coteaux de Montpellier winegrowers’ cooperative is located in the ancient village of Saint Geniès des Mourgues. Located 15 km from Montpellier and 30 km from Nîmes, this area with a wine-growing tradition offers the charm of the southern way of life and is well worth a visit. The cooperative was founded in 1961 and today covers a rich and varied territory of 1000 hectares from the gates of Montpellier to the small Camargue. Through the quality of its wines, the cooperative aims to highlight the work of its winegrowers and the richness of its terroirs. The diversity of the soils makes it possible to produce wines that are fruity and light, but also complex and powerful, thanks in particular to some outstanding plots that produce high-quality cuvées. You will be personally guided through the tasting by Valentina Ciccarelli.
