Domaine de St Julia: Rosé

Designation of origin: Languedoc

Grape varieties: 50 % Syrah, 50 % Mourvèdre

Vintage: 2021

Alcohol by volume: 12%

Description: The grapes are harvested by hand in the cool morning hours.
Pressed, then cold maceration of the juice for 72 hours, fermentation, then bottling at the end of fermentation.
Some stirring during 1 month.
Maturation: 6 months in tank.

Clay-limestone soils derived from 2 geological matrices from the secondary
era, 174 to 168 million years ago:
a) the Upper Aalenian (Montpellier fold),
b) Bajocian limestone with chalk (silica concretions).
Royat and goblet pruning, espalier pruning
Natural grassing in winter on stony slopes in Montpellier, light ploughing in spring
4 to 5 treatments and powdering

Tasting notes: Striking, luminous robe. This rosé offers floral aromas, of old roses, white flowers, star fruit, then forest fruit wild berries, star anise.
Taut and delicate in the mouth, it shows a beautiful personality.

Domaine Belles Pierres: Les clauzes de jo rosé

Designation of origin: AOP Coteaux du Languedoc

Grape varieties: Cinsault 50%, Mourvèdre 50%

Vintage: 2021

Alcohol by volume:12,5%

Description: The vines come from fifteen-year-old, well-tended vines. The grapes are hand-picked at high ripeness and early in the morning and transported swiftly to the winery. The grape varieties are vinified separately. As soon as the tank is completely filled and before fermentation begins, the saignée
method is used to recover about 20% of the juice. The desired colour is achieved after about 4 to 6 hours.

Aging: In 7 months old wooden barrels on fine lees.

Tasting notes: Gastronomic rosé full of character, beautifully shiny dress, intense nose with notes of red fruits; lightly toasted. Balance and freshness on the palate.

Vignerons du Chevalier Georges: Mas de Courty

Designation of origin: AOP Languedoc Saint Georges d’Orques.

Grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault.

Vintage: 2021

Alcohol by volume:13,5%

Description: A wine made in the traditional way. After macerating on the skins for 4 hours, the grapes are pressed and the grape juice is clarified by decanting at low temperature. Fermentation takes place for 3 weeks at a low temperature (17 °C).

Tasting notes: Beautiful pale pink colour. Fruity and floral, powerful yet fine on the nose. Slightly sparkling, very balanced, soft and fruity on the palate.
A pleasant, light and fruity wine to be enjoyed well chilled at 14°.

Food and wine pairing: goes well as an aperitif, with grilled meat and vegetables, salad, pizza,…

Domaine Henry: Vin vermeil (BIO)

Designation of origin: AOP Coteaux du Languedoc

Grape varieties: 55% Grenache, 25% Syrah-Mourvèdre, 10% Cinsault, 10% Carignan

Vintage: 2017

Alcohol by volume:13,5%

Description :Slopes of Jurassic limestone, marl limestone (flint rock), Quaternary gravel layer (Villafranchian). Organic cultivation, conversion to biodynamics. Organic winemaking without inputs. A rosé produced without pressing the grapes (saignée method),unbleached, fermentation in tank at controlled temperature, ageing in tank on fine lees.

Tasting notes: Richly structured rosé, strong colour. Powerful fruity nose (redcurrant, strawberry, black cherry…). Wide and fleshy in the mouth, well balanced by a natural tension. Very tasty, full-bodied wine, elaborated as a table wine that can be stored.

Food and wine pairing: It goes well with appetisers, starters, cold meats, shellfish, fish and even white meats (poultry, pork, lamb, veal), red meats (beef, duck) and cheeses (Gouda, Mimolette).

Vignerons du chevalier georges: Les murettes

Designation of origin: AOP Languedoc St Georges d’Orques

Grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault

Vintage: 2021

Alcohol by volume:13%

Description: Terroir: villafranchian terrace and hills, red soil with numerous pebbles and gravel.
Yield and ripeness: After a selection of plots, the grapes are harvested at perfect ripeness with a minimum content of 13% vol. The state of health of the grapes is impeccable. The yield is about 50 hl/ha.
Viticulture: The vines are managed on trellises with short pruning and cordon de royat to ensure the best possible qualit
Vinification: After a four-hour maceration period, the grapes are pressed and the grape juice is clarified by decanting at low temperature. Fermentation takes place at a low temperature (16-18°C).

Tasting notes:The robe is very beautiful of a pretty, quite strong pink. The nose is powerful, fruity and floral. The mouth is full-bodied, with lots of sweetness, smooth and very fruity.

Food and wine pairing: Enjoy it at around 14 degrees with starters, salads, cold meats, light dishes, grilled meats, roasts, poultry and as desired.

domaine d'isnard: Enivrante

Designation of origin: IGP Pays d’Oc

Grape varieties: 60% Syrah, 40% Cinsault

Vintage: 2021

Alcohol by volume: 13%

Description: This rosé is an assemblage of the traditional Cinsault and Syrah grape varieties grown on our La Méjanelle rolling pebble soil just outside Montpellier in the Languedoc.

Tasting notes: This rosé has a very beautiful nuance of vivid pink, a shiny and luminous wine. Delicate, floral nose with nuances of white flowers. Beautiful harmony in the mouth, delicate aromas, good length, a certain roundness.

Food and wine pairing: This wine is an aperitif, but also goes perfectly with
grilled meat, white meat and fish.
